J. Joseph Wilder presents at NYS Bar Association CLE
J. Joseph Wilder, Esq. was one of the presenters for a Continuing Legal Education entitled Practical Skills – How to Commence a Civil Lawsuit. Sponsored by the New York State Bar Association. Mr. Wilder presented the section on “Motions Directed to the Pleadings” at the Buffalo, NY session on May 23, 2011. Since 1993, Mr. Wilder and Laura A. Linneball, Esq., have completed eight updates of the comprehensive article used in the presentation, “Pleadings and Motions Directed to Their Faults”.

J. Joseph Wilder, Esq. and Laura A. Linneball, Esq. spoke to the New York State Gas & Electric Utilities Claims Managers' Association Meeting in Johnson City, NY on May 5, 2011. Mr. Wilder & Ms. Linneball presented "Legal Updates for Utlitity Claims Managers" to the group.
The keynote Presentation, entitled "What Should You Put Into Mediation to Get the Most Out of it?" was presented by the highly respected mediator, Shelley Rossoff Olsen, Esq.
The group also took time out on May 4th to attend a Binghamton Mets Minor League baseball game.

Denise M. Peebles elected President for the Association of Legal Administrators, Buffalo Chapter
Denise M. Peebles, Office Manager at Wilder and Linneball, LLP, was elected President, Buffalo Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) for 2011-2012. A member of ALA since 2006, Ms. Peebles served as Secretary for the chapter in 2009-2010, and President-Elect in 2010-2011. ALA was formed in 1971 to provide support to professionals involved in the management of law firms, corporate legal departments and governmental legal agencies. The Buffalo Chapter was founded in 1989.
